Music City Spirits & Cocktail Festival: a giveaway!
Earlier this week in my list of favorite upcoming April food & drink happenings, I highlighted the Music City Spirits and Cocktail Festival. Well, I don’t think I adequately communicated my enthusiasm for the event, so I’m back today to tell you more!
Happening April 29th – May 3rd, the schedule is packed with awesome seminars and cocktail-centric events. Hopefully by now you’ve had a chance to visit their website and really dig into the schedule, choosing a session or two to attend. I know I’m planning to try to get to as many as possible!
At the top of my list is the Coffee & Cocktails seminar. You see, I’m a little obsessed with coffee cocktails, and any time I see one on a menu, I immediately order it. At this seminar, Steadfast Coffee will be giving a lesson on the art of coffee and then Nashville bartenders will offer their cocktails featuring sparkling coffee soda. Oh, and a light brunch with biscuits will be provided by chef Brandon Frohne, who I know from personal experience knows his way around a biscuit.
Of course, there’s also the parties. The many, many, parties! Kicking things off at the Acme, Bourbon & Bluegrass at Two Rivers Mansion, the Speakeasy Spirits party at The Sutler, wrap up party at William Collier’s…. how to choose?!
I can make one party decision easy for at least one of you, because the organizers of the festival have given me a pair of tickets to give away for the Bourbon & Bluegrass event! Held on Thursday, April 30th, a single ticket is $75, so you’re looking at a $150 value for this prize. Pretty sweet!

Bourbon is my greatest love when it comes to the realm of spirits. So, the Bourbon & Bluegrass event would be THE event for me to attend at the Music City Spirits and Cocktail Festival. Coffee and Cocktails and the Italian Wine Dinner also look like great choices.
Italian Wine Dinner hosted by 100% Italiano sound awesome

The Bourbon and Bluegrass event looks like my top pick. I love both of those things :)
The bourbon and blue grass party looks fun, but I’d also like to attend the Italian wine session!
Bourbon and Bluegrass would be at the top of my list.
I love bluegrass: reminds me of my childhood! And my husband loves bourbon AND bluegrass. That event would be such a treat for us to attend!!!
But…then…there’s the Italian wine dinner…
How to choose???

I’d want to go to them all! But the “Bourbon & Bluegrass” is at the top of my list because I love both bourbon and bluegrass (who-ever thought of this was a person after my own heart!). The “Brandy: Americas Forgotten Spirit” sounds great too- mostly because part of the proceeds goes to Tiny But Mighty and you can bring your dog (I’m a sucker for my dog).

I’ve been trying to up my game and would love to attend the bourbon and bluegrass and the Brandy party too!
There may not be an Italian in my family’s ancestry, but there is certainly one in my heart. Her wine of choice? Italian. Her food of choice? Italian. Need I say more?
I’ve “liked” the event on FB.
“Brandy: Americas Forgotten Spirit”. Because I know embarrassingly very little about brandy.
