So I’m currently in the midst of my first week of Whole30 and the various openings and dinners this month are killing me. First up on the January happenings calendar is the expansion of Nashville’s beloved food truck, Grilled Cheeserie. They are opening their first brick-and-mortar restaurant tomorrow!

Located in the former Sunset Grill space in Hillsboro Village, the shop will offer snacks, soups and salads in addition to their famous grilled cheeses. Oh, and did I mention they have a milkshake bar?? Yum. To see the full menu, visit their website here.

Hours for the new restaurant will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Butcher & Bee 1st Birthday with Chef Bryan & Friends

Seriously, I can’t take it. My favorite restaurant is celebrating their first year in business and I won’t be able to partake. On Tuesday, Butcher & Bee Executive Chef Bryan Lee Weaver has invited chefs Andrew Whitney (Virago), Tony Galzin (Nicky’s Coal Fired), Kahlil Arnold (Arnold’s Country Kitchen), and Pastry Chef Cynthia Wong (original Butcher & Bee in Charleston) to collaborate with him on a special birthday dinner.

Please, please– some of you guys go and enjoy what is sure to be an incredible meal. Take lots of photos that I can salivate over while I’m at home eating no dairy, no sugar, no processed food, and drinking no alcohol.Reservations can be made online at www.butcherandbee.com/nashville , but walk-ins are also welcome!

I’ve got no details for you on this one except what you see here, but I do know that The Treehouse is one of the best restaurants in town (if you haven’t been there since Chef Jason Zygmont took over the kitchen, then you need to change that asap). And I know that I love Thai food, so this meal would make me so, so happy!
