SPICE IT UP! Les Dames Nashville Scholarship Fund Benefit Dinner
Last year I was absolutely honored and thrilled to accept an invitation as a founding member of the newest chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier Interanational here in Nashville.
In case you’ve never heard of it, Les Dames is an international organization (501c3) of women leaders in food, beverage, and hospitality professions. The goal of the membership (1900 members in 30 chapters in the U.S., U.K, and Canada) is to create a supportive culture in their respective communities and provide leadership and educational opportunities, as well as host philanthropic events.
Well, next week we’re throwing our first major fundraiser here in Nashville and it is going to be awesome!
One of the newest dames in the Nashville chapter, Chef Maneet Chauhan (of Chopped fame) will host the fundraiser at her restaurant, Chauhan Ale & Masala House. We also welcome a very special guest, fellow dame and Nashville native, Carla Hall of ABC’s “The Chew.”
Guests will enjoy a special menu of cocktails and dinner prepared by these lovely ladies in addition to lively conversation with them. And as someone who has chatted with them both on a few occasions, I can assure you, it will definitely be lively! Not only are they both blessed with incredible culinary talents, but they also have personality +!
