Drink Up! Hydrate with the Groove™
I will state the obvious: It is HOT.
Although I am not a medical professional, I’m going to give you some sound advice that should lessen your chance of heat stroke: Stay hydrated.
Water is my preferred beverage of choice even on days when it’s not sizzling outside, so I’ve never had much trouble taking in the recommended 64 oz a day. Unfortunately, for years a good bit of what I was taking in came in the form of bottled water. No more. In an effort to become less wasteful and more environmentally friendly, I’ve been trying as best I can to cut bottled water out of my life. At home and at work it’s easy to drink out of a glass, but when mobile, on the go and working out, the perfect hydration vessel had eluded me.
That was, until the fine folks at CamelBak offered to let me try out their new Groove™ no-spill water bottle with a built in filter.
Since the day it arrived over a month ago, I’ve been carrying my Groove™ with me wherever I go. There are several reasons I love it:
- It’s 100% BPA-Free
- It’s easy to refill and easy to use because of it’s built-in filter
- It’s durable and easy to carry
- The Flip & Sip bite valve ensures no spills
- It’s dishwasher safe
- And here’s one you won’t read in their sales materials: It’s great for hangovers. The design allows for drinking without ever having to lift your head off the pillow. (I may or may not have learned this from personal experience)
As is always the case when I get a free product sample, I only share with you if it’s something I feel strongly about, and this is one of those things.
So where do you get it?
You may have noticed that I’ve added an Amazon store to my blog! See it over in the right side bar? This is where you can find products that I personally use and love, including the Groove™. So if you want to buy one all you have to do is click on my store and you’ll find it in the kitchen and dining section.
Or maybe you’d like to win it?
That’s right, I’m giving one away this week!

i am not good at drinking water.
I definitely need to drink more water!!!!
I already like you on Facebook. :)
I try to drink lots of water daily, but unfortunately I live in hotels and airports so it’s always bottled water.
I’m desperately trying to get better. At work, it’s easy, but over the weekend I tend to slack off. I have, however, managed to switch the fiance from Cokes to water while he’s at work. That’s totally like bonus points, right?!
Too cool! Have been looking for a new water bottle. Thanks for the giveaway, Beth!
I hydrate often.

I need a water bottle on my desk at work and try to drink 3-4 of them a day. I mostly drink it so I have an excuse to go down to the kitchen and refill it so I can have a break.
About a year ago I dropped sodas and caffeine cold turkey. Since then I have been pretty much drinking water and juice only (with the occasional glass of wine or beer). I haven’t missed sodas one bit. We have a fantastic filtration system on our home refrigerator that produces awesome water, but work is a little more of a challenge. I make it work, though, and generally try to reuse my bottled water containers whenever possible.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I drink water 90% of the time, but like you usually only drink while at work or at home. I could definitely use a bottle to carry in the car with me.
I should drink more water, maybe if I get the Groove, It will encourage me to do so.
I have phases where I’m really hood about getting enough water but generally I am not! Great giveaway :)
Done, and done!
I am really great about drinking water at work…not so much elsewhere.
Also “liked” your facebook page!
I usually go through 2 big cups of water at work and a whole 20 oz bottle at the gym.

I need this! I am very good at drinking water but I pack two huge siggs for work each day (no bottled water for me!) but I always run out and end up drinking nasty work tap water by the end of the day. I’m always thinking how i need a filtered water bottle.!!
I like you on facebook! :)
& I tweeted.
I have carried around a yellow water bottle for 5 years. Just having it close by helps me remember to drink throughout the day but this one looks WAY cooler!!! =)
Oh man it is HOT already! I’m NY and I woke up at around 6:30 and it was already in the 70’s with 80% humidy. I chugged a glass of water and headed to the gym!
My hydration habits are pretty good but my eco-friendliness is not so great. As we speak I have a plastic (from my office cafeteria) cup, one with water and one with iced coffee. Throughout the day I’ll refill the water cup but it’s still a cup a day habit I’m trying to break. I like knowing how much water I’m consuming so the camelback would be awesome!
Great giveaway for a HOT day! Stay cool!
I hadn’t seen your facebook page before now…. but it’s been officially “liked”!
This looks like a great water bottle! I love that it has a filter. I drink heaps of water throughout the day, and this will make it much more enjoyable.

At work, I have no problem mindlessly drinking water all day, but I can’t seem to get in enough when I’m not stuck behind a desk. Maybe this on-the-go bottle is just what I need!

i JUST learned about this BPA business and definitely need to invest in a bottle! would love this one!
i like you on facebook:)
I’m with you Beth…no bottled water in the Rice House….I have two Camelbak bottles (one for home and one for office) but neither of them are as GROOVY as this ;-) they are BPA free but no filter :-( Obviously I would love to have a shiny new one like this.
PS I tweeted too :-)
I trick myself into hydration by keeping a pitcher of Crystal Light in my fridge. It’s easy for me to go through 2 quarts of that a day.
PS: I Tumblr’d and tweeted. :)
I drink a crap ton of water and the water at my office tastes like soap, so I need this!
I drink water all day at my desk at work, and then at home at night… but, like you, sometimes I have problems figuring out an eco-friendly travel solution. Looks like I need one of these! :)
Oh! And I tweeted!!
I have 3 metal water bottles I rotate through. They keep my water nice and cold but if I drop them (I mean WHEN i drop them) the botto always rounds out and they don’t stand right.
I tryyyyyy to drink the required 8 oz but always fall short it seems. This would def help!
I drink a lot of water all day and keep a little cooler in my car. But I must admit It’s mostly bottled water and then I recycle them. I Really need to switch to refillable bottles! Love this one!
I find that simply putting a straw in my glass helps me drink more water! It is super easy while sitting at my desk to just grab my glass and stick the straw in my mouth without even taking my eyes off my computer screen!
Already “like” you on Facebook, Beth!
i drink a TON of bottle water since we just have tap water in my office- my own portable filtration system? What a great alternative!!!
bought a britta water pitcher and keep it on the kitchen counter as a reminder to drink more water.
would like to lose 15 pounds before my next half-marathon on sept.
i have a rogue camelbak that i used for my job , but i would love to win that groove also soi can take that to work also!!!
continously refill my bottled water untill I actually get another.. I have been known to use the same plastic water bottle for at least 3 days!
I drink tons of water! I run in parks where I’ve scouted out all the drinking fountains along the way.
