3 (really 8) Years and Counting
One thing I didn’t mention about our recent Charleston getaway was that it was sort of a trip to celebrate our anniversary. It was also sort of a “babymoon” since I’m not sure when our next trip with just the two of us will happen now that we’ve got baby on the way in a few short months.
Today is my 3 year wedding anniversary and a couple of weeks from now will mark the 8th anniversary of meeting my most favorite male person on the planet. Even on days when I don’t want to smile, he knows how to bring out a giggle and I can’t imagine spending my life with anyone else.
Happy Anniversary honey!
Congrats guys! What a beautiful day that was just three short years ago! And the BEST is yet to come! Love you both!!!!
Love,
Libby
Thanks Libbers! Love and miss you!!!
Congrats to you both! We are October wedding folks too…..I like the way you phrased “3 (really 8)”….we do that too….this year will be 6 (really 11!) Time flies…….happy happy! :-)
Happy early anniversary to you too! My mom & dad’s anniversary is today, and my sis & brother-in-law’s in a couple of weeks. We’ve made it a family tradition ;-)
Happy Anniversary! We’ll have our 4th wedding anniversary next week and we also had our first date in Oct., as well (5 yrs ago yesterday). Must be a lucky month for love :) I’m glad you were able to fit in a wonderful trip to celebrate…just think next year you will have to get a sitter!!
There must be something about the crisp October air that ascends that makes people fall in love :-)
Ah! It’s a great time to celebrate! Have a happy one!
Deb Paquette post is up :-D
What a beautiful picture of you both! Congratulations all around … you are at a time in your life I just can’t wait for :)
Thanks Aly! Life is pretty darn good, and I am so thankful for that. Here’s to a beautiful life ahead for both of us!
happy anniversary! eight years – wow. my hubs & i will celebrate four in january (really four years, eight months). ha ha! we didn’t wait too long to take the plunge. baby #1 came 11 months later. i hope you love being pregnant as much as i did. remind yourself every time you’re tired that you’re doing really important work 24/7. and celebrate that anniversary fabulously, even if it means takeout & jammies!
Our celebration consisted of Thai takeout and watching the season premiere of Dexter on DVR. Pretty exciting stuff! Ha!- actually JUST what I wanted to do for the evening. Does that say that I’m getting old? ;-)
Happy Anniversary! and congratulations on the baby! <3
Congratulations! I love the idea of a Babymoon – hope you had a great time!
