Mark Your Calendars
There are always events going on around town, but some grab my attention more than others. A girl has to rest every now and then, so I try to choose my social occasions wisely. Here’s what’s on my radar for the next couple of weeks!

If you’ve been around me or my blog very much over the past year, you know how I’ve enjoyed several wine classes at Fido, in particular the ones where Damian Serong of Omni Beverage is sharing his knowledge. Well, he’s leading this one, so there is no way that I would miss it, especially after my recent French wine revelation.

Riedel Wine Glass Tasting
6:30pm – 8:30pm
Morton’s
618 Church Street
Nashville, TN 37219
(615) 259-4558
I am a BIG believer in the importance of good glassware when it comes to drinking wine- specifically Riedel glassware. I own over 40 Riedel glasses, so that in itself should tell you something. Just in case it doesn’t, I wholeheartedly recommend attending this event so you can see for yourself what a difference a glass can make. My favorite part about this tasting is that you’ll walk out the door with something very special…your own 4-piece Riedel Vinum tasting set! Valued at over $100, this alone makes it worth attending, but the fact that you get to enjoy some fine wines and munch on Morton’s signature hors d’oeuvres makes this a complete don’t miss wine tasting! For more information, visit the Morton’s website.
$60/person- inclusive of tax & gratuity
(added plus: Morton’s will donate $5 to Toys for Tots for each guest that brings a new, unwrapped toy)

Those are all great! Might seriously have to consider that Morton’s event…I really need to graduate from my TJMAXX wine glasses ;)
btw, mentioned you in my “Friday Food Finds” :)
Thanks!! let me know if you decide to go to the Riedel event. I have other plans on the calendar at the moment, but I’m trying to rearrange so I can attend.
Wine + chocolate + shopping combined? Is that legal? Lol
Shopping with a buzz is the best way to shop, right?
Beth,
Have you ever used Andrea Robinson’s “The One” wine glass? Thoughts?
I haven’t, but I’ve read good things about them. The shape of her red “one” is very similar to my Pinot Noir Vitis Riedel, actually. Have you used them before?
Haven’t used them – but planning on buying in the near future, OR telling people that’s what I want as holiday gifts! Will certainly report my findings
