Afrohead Rum Cocktail Series at Amari

The USBG Nashville Chapter kicked off of an AFROHEAD rum 6-week Unscripted Bartender Series a couple of weeks back, but since I was in the midst of traveling, it completely slipped past my radar.

But, now I know about it, so I will be checking it out soon! Each Tuesday through September 8, a guest bartender will create four unique cocktails at Amari, and at least one of those cocktails will include a secret ingredient presented to the bartender that week.

The evening is interactive, where guests get to watch the bartender create a variety of cocktails throughout the hours. The AFROHEAD cocktails will be specially priced at $9 from 8 pm – 12 am.

August 18th: Caleb Kimbley, Sinema
August 25th: Andy Knight, Urban Grub
September 1st: Ryan Yamada, Embers Ski Lodge
September 8th: Jordy Sadler, Union Common

(Sorry I didn’t announce this before Will Schultz from Amari and Jared Denham from Pinewood Social had their nights on 8/4 and 8/11!)

I love AFROHEAD Rum, and I’m ashamed to say that I have not yet been to Amari since it opened in February, even though it’s less than 2 miles from my house! This will be corrected soon. Like, on Tuesday. Hope to see some of you there!
