The 2013 Savor Nashville Celebrity Chef Dinner Menu (+ a giveaway!)
The week is here. Savor Nashville happens this Friday and Saturday! Friday night at Union Station Hotel looks to be great fun as some of the best chefs in Nashville (including some of my food truck favorites) will battle it out in the Challenge to the Chefs.
Saturday night is the Celebrity Chef dinner at Hutton Hotel, and I got a sneak peek at the menu, so I wanted to share with you. It looks absolutely amazing~
1st course –

shaved purple brussels sprout, asparagus, apricot and seared honey comb, rhubarb vinaigrette

Grilled shrimp & squid salad with aioli, breadcrumbs & wilted greens

oh man, how can I pick just one course? The lobster crepe does sound exceptionally amazing!
I would have to go with the lobster crepe. Wow!
Anytime I see the word chorizo on a menu that is what I am ordering! It sounds really interesting and yummy! Of course the Pinot Noir helps too!
All of them sound incredible, but my vote is the brussels sprouts because I’m currently obsessed with brussels sprouts, and the lobster crepe because there’s so many unique flavors.
Edward Lee’s smoked brisket sounds like a winner to me! We loved him on Top Chef.

The 3rd course sounds exceptional! Grilled shrimp & squid salad with aioli, breadcrumbs & wilted greens . . . YUM!!!! Paired with a delicious Unoaked Chardonnay. You can’t go wrong.

The salmon chorizo sounds the most interesting of the dishes, so I guess tha will have to be my choice. The whole menu sounds amazing though!

I am DYING to go to this event!! I am a big Jonathan Waxman fan and would love to try the shrimp & squid salad…also a big unoaked chardonnay fan, so that would be a nice pairing. :)

The Smoked brisket & squab, edamame & pickles, burnt orange puree, melted leeks dish sounds really good. I’ve never seen brisket prepared this way.

Hands down the brussel sprouts! I love the little green morsels, and would love to try a purple one (i didn’t even know they existed), now I’m gonna have to look for em.
