Seasoned Sunday will feature 6 awesome local chefs, each preparing sausages made from Wedge Oak Farm’s pasture-raised, heritage breed meats – lamb, pork, chicken, and duck. Five of Tennessee’s best breweries will be pouring and Angel’s Envy will be on hand with a bourbon cocktail and premium whiskeys.
Seasoned Sunday is a family-friendly event with live music and s’mores made with Olive and Sinclair chocolate and homemade graham crackers and marshmallows from my sweet friend Erin!
100% of the proceeds from Seasoned Sunday goes to the Tennessee Local Food Summit, which promotes the production and consumption of healthy, local food. More details can be found here, and tickets for the event can be purchased here.

Now in its 5th year, this has become one of my favorite holiday traditions! In addition to the amazing number of light displays, there are reindeer, s’mores stations, hot cocoa and cocktails. This year, there is a new addition, Pinnacles of Light, an outdoor display showcasing 17 custom-made LED trees with programmed lights.
Families can meet Santa every evening in December leading up to Christmas, as well as on Saturday mornings. There are timed ticket options to provide a quality guest experience, with first arrivals beginning at 5 p.m. and later evening arrivals beginning at 7 p.m. There is also a Late Night Lights offer, where guests arriving after 8:30 p.m. can receive a discounted rate of $15 adult admission and $10 child admission each night. Visit Cheekwood.org for more information on pricing and to learn more about LIGHTS!
I’d definitely take my husband as we wind down after a busy season of moving! We love the Green Pheasant and this would be a great date night!
I would take my best friend, Matthew. Our friendship is pretty food focused – we are always eating and drinking when we get together. So this is right up our alley!
My hubby!? We are big foodies and love special events in Nashville. Thanks!!
I would take my wife of 48 years because she deserves every opportunity to celebrate our wonderful years togethers.
i’d try to convince my cousin to make a last minute trip to come to this with me. we could catch up a lot over 12 courses!
would take my friend who treated me to bday cocktails and cheese curds at Ellington’s last week. Gotta balance the karmic ledger of food and bev generosity
The ChefsFeed Indie dinner sounds absolutely amazing. I’d take my hard-working foodie friend so we could relax and enjoy some delicious food.

Gotta take my bestie!
Sounds delicious. I’d take my best friend, unless I can score a date by then. ha :)
Sounds amazing!!! This is my husband and my first time in Nashville! We just arrived today from Calgary, Alberta, Canada and are so excited! I would definitely take my husband as he is here on a conference and I am here to… take in all that is Nashville! My parents are looking after our 3 kiddos (ages 13, 11, and 8) while we are away so this trip is a huge treat! This would be a great way to celebrate with my husband! ?
My lovely wife! And I’ve been wanting to check out the GP!
Since I have wayyy too many boyfriends to choose from… I’d probably end up taking my (girl) friend who made me go running with her in 38 degree weather the other night. I think the both of us deserve to get a little fat and happy and buzzed after that ;-D
My husband only likes a few foods, I’d totally take my best friend.
