Besides a few trips to the pediatrician, one to my own doctor, a couple to Target and the grocery store, and one to Dose for a ginger latte, my new mommy self has not left the house in five weeks.

But I when I saw these words in a press release last week….

“Benton’s Bacon Stuffed Dates? Tennessee Crack cookies with Olive and Sinclair Brittle? Willow Farms Deviled  Eggs and East Tennessee Pickled Ramps?”

I immediately knew what my first BIG excursion since having Baby would be!

 What: Tennessee Flavors

When: Thursday, March 8th, 5-8:30 pm

Where: Nashville State Community College Student Services Center,  White Bridge Road campus

For $50 in advance (or $60 at the door), we can sample dishes and drinks from more than 50 of the area’s outstanding chefs, beverage and food producers. Check out the event website for more details and a full listing of participants. I have a feeling once you see the list, I’ll be seeing a lot of you there!
