Primo Flavorstation – A Giveaway!
For months I’d been hearing buzz about at-home soda makers, but really hadn’t paid much attention since I personally only buy and drink sodas on very rare occasions.
But then, in early December, as I watched a bartender at Holeman & Finch in Atlanta pull out a device to make her own club soda, it dawned on me that a little gadget like that would be fun to have for our home bar!
I hadn’t yet bought my honey a Christmas present, and thought this just might be the perfect gift. After a little online research and video watching, I liked what I saw, so I took the plunge and decided to order one.
Well, lo and behold, the gods were shining down upon me, because at the same time I was in the process of ordering, I got an email from Primo asking me if I’d like to try out their Flavorstation!
Why, yes, I would!
Now that we’ve had a few weeks with ours, I can tell you that it is unequivocally the best gift I’ve ever given my husband. Unlike me, he does like to drink soft drinks quite often, so normally he keeps a stash in our basement fridge. No more! Now we have this handy dandy little soda maker on our kitchen counter top that he uses to make a fresh soda whenever it strikes his fancy.
Since we love ours so much, I figure it’d be nice to spread the love and give one to you guys! One lucky reader will be making their own drinks at home in just a few short weeks. All you have to do is this:

I have to say that I enjoy my Diet Coke (a can a day) very much. I don’t smoke or drink, so I am allowed a little vice, right?

LOVE bubble water (as I call it). I usually go for the Poland Spring or Trader Joe’s Sparkling Water, but also love Perrier Pamplemousse (Pink Grapefruit). I would LOVE this…

I really prefer a sugar free Red Bull or a lo-card Monster!
I love making my own flavored simple syrups and adding them to soda water, so having a soda machine at home would be so great. Hard to pick a favorite, but I think a basil-mint soda with fresh berries (and maybe a splash or two of gin) is my favorite.

Never made a fizzy drink before, My teenage son keeps saying how fun it would be to create a homemade beverage and make his own flavor up, I think it would be a BLAST to try something different. Hope I WIN!!!
For the most part I don’t drink a lot of carbonation but do enjoy a soda from time to time. I want to get back to making my own. I bought a book a while back but after contamination with the yeast, i gave up. I’ve learned it’s much hard to control than brewing beer.
Love the sparkling water drinks!! You can get any flavor just by using different juice or flavorings.
My favorite fizzy drink is actually club soda. I’d love to make my own & add homemade fruit syrups!

I drink a LOT of club soda since it’s something different from straight water but not caloric or filled with artificial sweeteners. It would be wonderful to be able to make my own!

It looks like my first comment didn’t show up (?). I really like drinking club soda with a little lime at the end of the day since it’s a switch from plain water but doesn’t have artificial sweeteners or a lot of calories.

I don’t drink sodas, but I do love a good gin and tonic (with Corsair Gin of course!) I want to start making my own tonic syrup to avoid the HFCS in traditional tonic, and then I would use the soda water to make it bubbly :)
I love sparkling apple juice. This would be fun to win!
I confess: a few times a year, I get a crazy craving for Coca-Cola. Luckily, I can find the Mexican glass-bottled Coke, which is made with cane sugar instead of scary HFCS. I know cane sugar isn’t healthier, but all the junk in HFCS creeps me out. Plus, this is just a once-in-awhile indulgence.

I am not a fan of most sodas… the flavors are just so, gross. I can appreciate a good gingerale or fruit fizzy. But making my own sounds ideal, I can imagine the flavor possibilities already. :) Pick me, pick me!

I gave up soda for a while in favor of juice and water. Then I got hooked on flavored club soda (like Calistoga). I’ll bet this would be the ultimate machine to have right next to the coffee maker!
