Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is Open in Nashville!
It’s official. Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams has opened its first shop outside of Ohio right here in Nashvegas. And if the insanely long line outside of last night’s preview party is any indication, this town is extremely happy to have them!
Include me in that extremely happy group.
My new favorite ice cream, possibly the best flavor on the planet: Bangkok Peanut.

I tried every single flavor. All Amazing!
I know. I honestly liked every single thing I tried. I didn’t quite make it through them all, but probably only left off 4 or 5 of them :-)
I’m pretty confident that the most delicious thing I’ve ever put in my mouth is the Gravel Road! Sweet, salty, creamy, crunchy, smoky, smooth, ahhhhhh I want some right now.
I tried that Gravel Road last night and it was one of my favorites as well. Very interesting flavor :-)
I absolutely can’t wait to try this place! I’m coming in this weekend and it will definitely be on my to-do list :)
You are going to love it!!!
I’m jealous of Vivek, I felt kind of bad trying the amount I did (at least half). One of the ladies laughed at all the spoons I had in my hand and yet she still offered me another sample!
Did you try the queen city cayenne? I really liked it, but wasn’t sure I could handle a whole scoop. I ended up with a half scoop of dark chocolate on the bottom and golden ale & apricots on top.
I think I LOVE beer in my ice cream!
Yes, I had the Queen City Cayenne too and it’s one of my faves. I love spicy & sweet together!
I got invited to the early tasting, and was SO bummed I couldn’t come. I really need to get over there and sample!
I finally went! I had Queen City Cayenne and Coriander/Raspberry. Together!
I felt like a genius!
LOL.
I wrote about it…
I think I’ll try Renee’s combo with the apricots…
The place really is amazing…and I have the cookbook! Heaven!
