WaterCooler: Olive & Sinclair
My friend Stephen is one of the organizers of WaterCooler, an informal networking group for young Nashville entrepreneurs in their 20s, 30s and 40s. The second Monday of every month, WaterCooler participants gather for cocktails, networking and the chance to listen to a dynamic speaker talk about their business or topic of expertise. Over the past year the topics have ranged from social media to art collecting to beer. Yes, beer! Last month’s meetup was at Yazoo, where Linus Hall took them on a tour and tasting. Sadly, I missed that one, but I will definitely not be missing the next one.
That’s because the next WaterCooler event is a behind-the-scenes tour of Nashville’s own artisan chocolate maker, Olive & Sinclair Chocolate Co.! Not only will we be touring the factory with O&S Founder/Owner/Chocolatier Scott Witherow, but we’ll also get to sample the goods. Mmmm, chocolate.
I’ve been given the okay to spread the word about the event, but please note that space is limited, so you must RSVP to kseamon@bonelaw.com in advance. If you’re interested, better respond quickly before it fills up, and be sure let them know you heard about it from me!

i’ve RSVP’d for me and a friend, looks fun! thanks for the tip!
yay! excited to meet you :-)
thankyouthankyouthankyou. My boyfriend and I just moved to Nashville about a month ago, and I know about -3 people. About a month or two before I moved I hopped online and tried to search out some online sources of ‘Nashville + everything I love’ things to do and see. I have wanted to eat, drink, and be a part of every single thing you have posted. And now I have a real life golden ticket to a chocolate factory. All thanks to you. And the internet. But mostly you. :)
PS- I was contracted to bring brussel sprouts to Thanksgiving this year, so since I sent you the hash suggestion I’ve been up to my eyeballs in bs recipes. There are some AWESOME maple roasted ones out there, but I’m more of a savory kinda girl, so I’m going with a simple truffle oil recipe I found. I’m lucky, Daron loves ’em. Now, if you have any suggestions on how to make a boy like cilantro, I’m all ears! Impossible feat.
Sorry. Long-winded. But thanks again!
Well Lisa, I am so very happy I can help!! Welcome to Nashville and I cannot wait to meet you at the chocolate factory :-)
Speaking of that Brussels Sprout hash recipe, I just saw that the ladies of Style Blueprint (another awesome Nashville blog), just featured it on their site this week! http://www.styleblueprint.com/food-and-entertaining/feast/
I bought some sprouts a couple of days ago, so I’m planning to give it a try in the next few days. Thanks again for suggesting it!
Just RSVP’d. Hope to see you there.
Renee B.
Yay! will see you then!
