Food Blog Forum Nashville

So in addition to leaving a job I’d had for almost 10 years, starting a whole new career with a new company, trying to keep this blog up and functioning, and making my way through a pretty difficult first trimester of pregnancy, for the past few months I’ve also been planning a big food blogging conference that will take place next week! Nothing like a little stress to keep you on your toes….

Honestly, it’s been a blast. Yes, a lot of hard work, but still fun – and the best is yet to come! Lindsay, Leah and I have been working like crazy to make sure that Nashville throws the best Food Blog Forum yet.

We’ve got an incredible lineup of speakers coming from all over the country and two parties planned that will truly showcase some of the best of what Nashville has to offer. On top of that, we’ve got swag. And door prizes. Every day I am blown away by the generosity of all of our sponsors and cannot wait to see the excitement on the attendees’ faces when they open up their bag for the first time. I can say with no hesitation that the value of what is in the swag bag alone (remember, there are still amazing door prizes too) is worth more than the price of admission to this event!

Of course, that isn’t what should bring you to FBF. This seminar is all about learning and connecting with others whose interests are the same as yours. I’ve attended 3 food blogging events around the country over the past year, and will say that what I’ve brought out of each of them is invaluable. During FBF Nashville, we’ll cover topics to appeal to the novice blogger as well as the seasoned pro. You can learn how to best work with brands, get a lesson in PR 101, figure out some basic Blogging Etiquette,  or take it to the next level with a lesson on Recipe Writing & Development. And of course, there will be a session that I think every blogger always feels like they need more help with– Food Styling/Photography.

To cap off the day, we’ve come up with something fun called “Experts Round Table”. The idea is for attendees to get some face time with all of our speakers and other experts to really pick their brains on topics that baffle many of us. During a series of four “speed-networking” sessions, each attendee can get advice from the experts, free of charge. Just come ready with your list of questions and fire away!

So I tell you all of this to say- if you are a blogger or have any desire to start your own blog, this is an event that you cannot afford to miss. There are only 15 tickets still available as of today, and I feel pretty confident that we’ll see that number dwindle to zero in a few days, so grab yours before they’re all gone!
