After eating so much on vacation last week, I really have no desire to eat much of anything this week. I need a breather. So this week I won’t be going out to restaurants and you won’t see me drinking a drop of alcohol.

But next week? That’s a different story. Because it’s Nashville Originals Restaurant Week! That means there are 3 and even 4-course dinners at some of Nashville’s finest for only $20.10 or $30.10. No way I could pass that up. Now to just make the tough decision on where to go…..

Check out the menus here and make your reservations now before they all fill up!

Beth, because of other committments I unfortunately only have one night to go out during restaurant week this year. I am trying to decide between PM and Watermark (never been to either) – any suggestions?

so what did you end up deciding on? I’m going to a private event/happy hour at Watermark tonight, but then on to dinner at Yellow Porch. Thinking of doing PM or Rumba this weekend…

Oh wow, that's a tough call because they are SO different. I like them both, but have to say that PM's menu was actually calling to me too…
Of course, PM on a regular night is always more affordable than Watermark, so having the $30.10 deal is definitely nice. I'm not much help am I??

We went to Yellow Porch last night and it was wonderful. We usually go for lunch, but they become completely different place at night.

And I really want to try Tayst, still have not been there.

Hey Julia- I’m going to Yellow Porch tonight! It is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Nashville. I love the atmosphere- it’s such a cozy spot for a date night or to even spend an evening with a small group of friends. And yes, you must get to Tayst soon too, as it’s one of my other faves!! ;-)
