Snow Cream Cocktail
Snowed in by what is being called “The Situation 2010” here in Nashville, I concocted a new cocktail I dubbed:
Snow Cream
1/2 cup of espresso*
1 jigger vanilla vodka
1 jigger 1921 Tequila Cream (pictured at left)
Ice
Put espresso, vodka, and cream in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into martini glass and serve.
Delicious, delightful. And will give you a buzz in more ways than one. Fantastic as an after dinner drink if you have just one or great as drinkS (plural) if you need to wake up. Not suggested to consume in large quantities if you would like to rest your weary eyes.
*I do not have an espresso machine at home, so I use instant espresso powder
1921 Tequila Cream can be purchased in Nashville at The Wine Chap
Wow this is a great resource.. I’m enjoying it.. good article
Beth, I’m so excited to see this. This Tequila Cream is AMAZING. I discovered it last year on my birthday at ChaChahs along with the Rocky Road Brownie dessert. Amazing! I’m so going to try this recipe. I have a bottle of this stuff in my fridge right now and a bottle of vanilla vodka in the cupboard begging for a snow storm. ;)
They’ll put the tequila cream in your hot cocoa at Cha Chah too. Yum!! This cocktail is soooo good. There were nights last winter where I drank like 4 of them, but then was so wired I’d be up half the night. Some nights that was my goal, so not a bad thing ;-)
How much expresso powder do you use?
Hi Sandra,
Just follow the directions on the espresso powder jar!
