Trader Joe’s Showdown

Something happened a while back that proved I can really make a difference in this world. Trader Joe’s came to Nashville. And yes, I played a part in it. You see, a couple of years ago I signed a “Bring Trader Joe’s to Nashville” petition that was floating around the cyber world, specifically requesting a Green Hills location. And what do you know, this past November they came-not only to Nashville, but more specifically, to my neighborhood!

Okay, enough about me and my contributions to making Nashville a better place to live and on to the real reason for this post. TJ has issued a challenge to all of their devoted shoppers and creative cooks. Introducing the Trader Joe’s Hiip Recipe Showdown: The Sandwich Face Off. Do you think you have what it takes to make the ultimate sandwich?

You better believe my experimentation is well underway…poor hubby will probably be sick of sandwiches before it’s all said and done! I can’t give away my secret formula yet (who knows who might try to steal my thunder?), but once the contest entry window closes on May 25th, I’ll post my recipe here for you to see!
